The National Kidney Foudation: The mission of the National Kidney Foundation is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well–being of individuals and families affected by these diseases and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation. National Kidney Foundation gives you a chance to be a part of NKF’s ongoing effort to help the 26 million Americans with kidney disease live richer, fuller lives.
Junior Achievement:empowers young people to won their economic success. Our volunteer-delivered, K-12 programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire kids to dream big and reach their potential. Junior Achievement impacts 4 million U.S. students in more than 173,000 classrooms. With the help of 171,000 volunteers, JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st-century global marketplace.
National Urban League: works to provide economic empowerment, educational opportunities and the guarantee of civil rights for the underserved in America. We started our Centennial Celebration in 2010 with a bold, nationwide call to action. We launched I AM EMPOWERED, an initiative focusing on four aspirational goals for America in education, employment, housing, and healthcare, the cornerstones of our approach.
